This ad makes me think of making best worst decisions;

I’ve always wanted a Ghia, already have support of the team, and this price is right, plus it’s local.

Drawbacks include it’s a late model, has rust, no engine, and no papers..

No papers? Will you be able to get it registered then?

Also, keep in mind bodywork on these is often very expensive as the body is one giant piece, no remov able panels, etc.

Would make a fun project car though! :D

Papers can be gotten, it’s not ideal but it is possible. Bigger problem is the engine gone and rust through the channels.. missing parts could be a pain as well..

I mean.....I’ve made no secrets that I love my iron Duke powered fiero....it is a slightly more involved project than I thought it’d be, but I will keep under my budget and get some good stories out of it while having fun.

Plus it is WAY too photogenic. It’s a 20 foot car in person but cell phone cameras make it look great. So a nice win-win. I even have multiple end games for it - I can keep it for as long as I love it, and sell it to break even after adding miles. Or I can spend extra labor, make it extra nice, and turn it into a flip for some cash towards something I really really love. Alternatively.....I go whole hog, paint it up like a lancia stratos, swap in an ecotec turbo and make a rallycross car. All endings point to a win lol.

So y ou should do it like that - if it’s in your heart, and you plan it out to always come out ahead in some way (and yes, memories and experience count as coming out ahead!) Then see what you can afford and do it!
